Many of our rural communities have been devastated by Cyclone Gabrielle. We are currently gathering information from our Members in the affected regions, and from other organisations and agencies, to identify how RWNZ can best assist in the recovery phase. Our Members in those regions are already working to provide support and resources to local people.
Our Adverse Events Relief Fund is available to help individuals and communities who have experienced financial hardship and are in urgent need of assistance after adverse events and natural disasters such as Cyclone Gabrielle.

Please note that we are already receiving applications to the fund in response to hardship experienced due to Cyclone Gabrielle and anticipate that this demand will continue over the coming months. In the events that funds gathered are not exhausted to support this response, the remaining funds will be held in the Adverse Events Relief Fund to support future adverse events and responses.
